Jeans Day
we Usually have four days a year throughout the whole school when the students pay a small fee and are allowed to come to school wearing jeans instead of their school uniform. This is quite simple to organise and teachers usually help us to collect the money. This money is usually spent painting and decorating a classroom in one of the poor schools.
Bonfire Night
Bonfire night is one of FASAC's biggest events, it is usually held in early November and takes place on a Saturday.
In the morning there are football games between parents and students, after lunch there is a main football game between the Anglo teachers and a selection of television personalities. Throughout the afternoon children from various sections of the school give presentations and there are many types of different stalls and attractions usually associated with a bazaar.
In the evening there is a large bonfire with Guy fawkes dolls and pumkins, traditional sausage,
mashed potato and baked beans are served and the evening ends with a huge firework display.
Monies from this event are often spent on construction projects in poor schools and we run a medical programme which includes hearing and eye examinations and general medical operations.

Christmas Party
The Christmas party takes place in late November, some 600 children from the poor shanty town schools come to the Anglo to enjoy a fun filled day of special ativities. Breakfast is usually served around 8:30 am and this is followed by a morning of sports activities and musical shows. After lunch has been eaten there is a huge gathering at which every child will
receive a present of new clothes and a toy from Father Christmas. The children leave around 3:00 pm excited from a once in a lifetime experience. This event is extremely expensive for Fasac, but we feel it is important that these children have at least one day of happiness during the year.
Raffle
Fasac holds a raffle once a year in May, tickets are sent home with every child in the school and we usually sell around 5000 tickets. prizes are important and have included in the past a car, a trip to Disney World and a Caribbean cruise. Money collected from this event help to pay the monthly food bills to provide the poor children from four schools with a constant food supply.
Mini Bazaar
The mini bazaar takes place in the school in mid June, fifth grade students provide games and activities for preschool and primary students throughout a morning of fun and entertainment. Monies collect from this event are used to buy much needed furniture for poor school classrooms.
Bake Sales
In a year each grade within Primary will bake cakes and biscuits for sale within the school during the moring break period. Very popular with the children, all proceeds of the sales go to Fasac.
Other Resources
Throughout the year we recieve some donations from large companies. This money is spent buying necessary materials in order to develop the learning process in five poor barrio schools.
